The Gurney Fund Provides financial support for the care and education of children of deceased or medically retired police officers, on and off duty, from the 22 subscribing forces in England and Wales. A weekly allowance, distributed quarterly, is paid to the parent or guardian with whom the child lives.
The Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund The charity supports the children of serving and former officers of the Metropolitan Police and the City of London Police Forces.
Association of Retired Police Dog Charities Association of Retired Police Dog Charities was established in September 2020. Locally based Retired Police Dog (RPD) Charities have been in existence since 2005.
The Police Children's Charity The original Northern Police Orphanage for children of deceased police officers opened in north England in 1898 by Miss Catherine Gurney.
