The Gurney Fund Provides financial support for the care and education of children of deceased or medically retired police officers, on and off duty, from the 22 subscribing forces in England and Wales. A weekly allowance, distributed quarterly, is paid to the parent or guardian with whom the child lives.

Association of Retired Police Dog Charities Association of Retired Police Dog Charities was established in September 2020. Locally based Retired Police Dog (RPD) Charities have been in existence since 2005.
